As part of its quest to maintain the momentum of the cooperative practical movement to serve the community and keep pace with the rapid scientific development, the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala participates in the exhibition of scientific innovations and the activities of the university, which was held on Tuesday 7/6/2022 in the closed hall of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences with the participation of all colleges of the University of Kerbala and under the supervision of the President of Karbala University. . The participation of the College of Engineering was chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi, and his scientific assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Mithaq Nima Rahima, some faculty members and a group of researchers and students. The exhibition was attended by the Governor of the Holy Karbala, Eng. Nassif Jassem Al-Khattabi, and the President of Karbala University, Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nile al-Seedi and his assistants. Academic and administrative figures, deans of participating faculties, academic and governmental figures. The participation of the College of Engineering represented in presenting the scientific outcomes of students, researchers and teaching staff including patents, projects and activities that are concerned with community service. It included models of some devices manufactured to serve the community, such as the prosthetic limb, the smart blind stick and the electronic portal, and architectural designs for some of the winning student projects in competitions and scientific forums. The exhibition represents an opportunity to market these products and contribute to providing practical solutions to real problems. For his part, Al-Qarawi valued the efforts made and the quality of these scientific products, calling for continued efforts to carry out such activities that contribute to the development of the educational process and the strengthening of the practical aspect.
